Sid Glickfeld’s realistic painting, “Fire Suppression,” came from his experience as a young adult volunteer working to put out fires. “I was a scoutmaster at this time in my life, and we worked together, digging trenches, on public properties where fire broke out. I remember after fighting a fire, we had to write a report . You never know for sure, but we were asking questions about how it started.”
