“Bringing in the Sunshine”
I come from a small town in Poland. We had a house and garden – one side was vegetables, the other was flowers-with sunflowers that were so beautiful. (The dog was kept on a leash so he wouldn’t get into any of it!) I chose to work with flowers because it reminds me of this beloved home. Creating “Bringing in the Sunshine” gave me more memories of home, my wonderful parents and the family. Now that I am free, I am happy to express myself. This is the beginning as I work with the rubbings and I hope next time I will continue to grow with this! I express myself with thanks to my teacher because I never did this before… and thanks to myself for being open to creating something brand new!!
