In “Life in the Waters”, all of the thriving lifeforms are from different waters and locations! I wanted to show there is life underwater because when we look at the surface of the ocean it’s not obvious. These are just a few of the thousands of species that reside there! I took these images from different sources and combined them to show their contrasting beauty and fill the painting with surprises! In a painting, every detail counts…the color , the shapes, every curve. Doing this artwork, my eyes have opened up; and, I have learned even more about looking out and enjoying the beauty of the world! Evelyn Ostreicher
