I grew up in New York and now get to be in San Francisco close to my daughter. About four years ago I started to do art. I like using different mediums like acrylic, charcoal, pastels, and Ink. Pastels and charcoal are particularly fun because it allows me to use my fingers to create different effects. It is experimental. I am drawn to portraits and find the eyes are windows to these faces.
Creating art is the most intensive thing I do. I am constantly learning from doing art. It also feels great to be doing art with a group. It keeps my creativity going.
