Brenda was born and raised in Canada and now lives in San Francisco. She enjoys macro photography and is a member of San Francisco Women Artists Gallery (SFWA).
During the COVID pandemic, Brenda discovered Art with Elders online classes through the Community Living Campaign. Since then, she has been attending the class weekly, exploring sketching, painting with acrylics and with watercolors.
Brenda reports that she has also enjoyed learning about perspective and color theory in the AWE class, taught by Santiago Gervasi. It is the first art class she has attended.
