Born in San Francisco and raised in the vibrant community of Valencia Gardens, Darnella has always embraced a unique, creative perspective. Her lifelong artistic journey includes a background as a preschool teacher, where she regularly integrated her talents for singing and playing the guitar into early childhood education.
Darnella deeply enjoys the process of making art, finding it to be a profoundly relaxing practice. Known for doing things a bit differently, she takes an inventive approach to her work; when working from a photo reference, she loves interpreting the subject to make the final piece entirely her own.
