Community Living Campaign – Elina (Liny) Adams - Searching for the Lost ChordDescription
In 2015, after retiring from teaching kindergarten in Houston, Texas, Elina moved to San Francisco with her sister Beth to be closer to family.
During the Pandemic, Elina and Beth discovered Art With Elders through the Community Living Campaign. Elina shares that she and her sister enjoy the instruction and encouragement of instructor Santiago. According to Elina, “Santiago is extremely accepting of whatever you do.”
This is the first time Elina has submitted a piece for display. It is one of a series of pastel drawings with an orangutan as a main figure.
