Ruth started painting in 1946 when she was a little girl and hasn’t stopped since. Her father was an artist and encouraged and inspired her along a lifetime path of painting. She eventually became an art teacher at a public school, PS 41x District 11, in the Bronx, NYC. Her favorite subject is painting expressionist portraits.
