I love the arts…painting, drawing, theatre and classical music. When I come to art class I get to create art with other talented seniors. They appreciate my work and it gives me a tremendous feeling of confidence. Being a part of the group leaves me feeling wonderful and I love the camaraderie. I look forward to the art classes and it makes me feel alive.
I have been an artist and taught art in New York City public schools. My philosophy is “Don’t be a perfectionist. Do the best you can do. Go with the flow and don’t stress out about art.”
