Ms. Zhang is originally from China and started participating in the Art With Elders class at On Lok San Jose in 2024. She is a retired teacher who likes literature and painting, “I enjoy the beauty of nature, the excitement of creation and the happiness of the inner soul. I like to do Chinese brush painting, watercolor and oil painting.”
“I have learned painting techniques and gained a lot of knowledge and skills in watercolor. I have benefitted greatly from the help of AWE teacher's dedicated and patient teachings. Participating in the art classes has allowed me to meet many friends with shared interests and hobbies. I have learned a lot from them.”
