Lily Yan was a mechanical engineer in China. After 2002, she moved to San Francisco to work in jewelry design and sales. Before retiring, she worked as a luxury jewelry stylist at Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco.
During the 2020 pandemic, she decided to pick up her childhood dream and began to learn painting in an online school. She is particularly keen on sketching and colored pencil by drawings. She hopes to use the simplest tools to draw the most vivid pictures, express emotions through art, let art change life, and make life more colorful.
