This etching by J. Andre Smith depicts a narrow, winding cobblestone street flanked by quaint, historic buildings with detailed brickwork and shingled roofs. A solitary figure, dressed in period attire, is seen walking down the pathway, adding a sense of scale and movement to the scene. The architectural structures are richly textured, with windows and doors slightly ajar, suggesting a lived-in environment.
