Description

This is the first anti-vibration system in the history of skis. It is also a cult classic, as the legendary Jean-Claude Killy won all three downhill skiing gold medals at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics on a pair of Dynamic VR17 skis (Super G was not yet a discipline at the time). This remarkable feat has never been replicated. The skis are currently mounted with Tyrolia 290 bindings, but they will be replaced with Look Nevada bindings—the same model Killy used in 1968.

Paul Michal, a cabinetmaker from the Isère region who is passionate about technical challenges, and his brother-in-law Jean Berthet, a graduate of Arts et Métiers, decided to create their own factory. That year, four pairs of skis came out of his workshop under the brand name NIVOSE, which eventually became Dynamic.
