Early Lange Ski Boots (blue)Entry/Object ID
SSB0001Description
This is a pair of Lange boots from the 1960s with a blue inner liner. Bob Lange was the first to mass-market rigid plastic boots (and god knows these were rigid!). These became, in the 60s and 70s, the preferred choice of racers, including Jean Claude Killy, who won numerous World Cups and swept the gold medals at the 1968 Olympics in Grenoble, France. (SSB for Synthetic Ski Boots).Location
