Description

Replica of the Kalvträsk ski as it would have appeared when new, some 5,200 years ago. This pair of skis was crafted in 2024 by Master craftsman Owe Söderström from Kalvträsk, Swedish Lapland. It is not Kalvträsk museum that has the Kalvträsk skis; instead, the regional Västerbottens museum in Umeå commandeered them. The replica now shown at the Kalvträsk museum was made by Owe Söderström.
