These are wooden ridge skis capable of both fixed heel for downhill skiing and uphill free heeling. They are equipped with a Kandahar "1" non-release binding. The Kandahar binding is branded Altex, which would be one of the many licensees of the Kandahar binding in the days when this was the absolutely dominant binding. The ski presents an interesting, rounded tail, which could be indicative of an older model. Adding to that impression is the absence of metal edges.Category
