Glessner House - Zoom styleDescription
Glessner House
Chicago, IL
Before the pandemic shuttered business and organizations across the country, most people had never heard of Zoom, much less used it. As people started working from home, and organizations had to pivot in finding ways to stay connected to their communities, Zoom provided a perfect solution.
Glessner House has found great success in its offerings of online programming, one of the biggest benefits being the ease with which anyone can join in, regardless of where they live. Attendance at online programs has typically been about twice what it would have been for comparable in-person programs. Participants join from across the U.S. and from as far away as Australia!
To give people a nice virtual background to use while on Zoom meetings (and for a bit of free publicity for Glessner House), we created a dozen pre-formatted Zoom backgrounds that people could download from our website and use on their own. No more looking at someone's crooked blinds or half-dead house plants, now the attendee can "sit" amongst the beauty of Glessner House during their Zoom meetings!
