The Great Green Whale - Homage to Andre Breton is a stunning sculpture created by artists from Italy and the United States during the Darden Celebration of Cultures Exchange Residency in 1999 at Atlantic Center for the Arts.
Standing at 25’ x 9’, this piece was donated as a symbol of the positive and collective experience they had while in residence.
Cast in bronze by Marsha Montoya Art Studios, Inc., Palm Beach, and dedicated in 2001, it stands as a testament to the opportunities Atlantic Center for the Arts creates for artists worldwide.
