Description
An Orenda P.S. 13 annular, vaporizing combustion chamber having a 42-in. diam. air casing has been tested at atmospheric pressure without preheat. Items investigated: pressure loss, weak stability limits, weak ignition limits, outlet temperature distribution, flame pattern, combustion roughness including its causes and effects, mechanical failures, carbon deposition and overheating distortion.
