pg 51 R-Theta For BAF - Canadian Appl;ied Research Ltd to provide nav computer to Belgian Air Force. Iroquois Fire - Orenda Engines last month came close to losing both an Iroquois test engine and its B-47 test bed when fire broke out in the test pod. Mike Cooper-Slipper was at the controls when the engine caught fire. Cooper-Slipper was able to control the blaze with fire extingusher system from the cockpit until he was able to land.
