Arrow Myth Part 2 - Three myths are presented, and the subject of how good was the Arrow is discussed, The Iroquois was the only item ahead of the pack. The three myths are: 1. "Prime Minister John Diefenbaker killed the Arrow" / This myth has since been proven to be false, as the RCAF no longer wanted the aircraft. / 2. "Diefenbaker ordered everything destroyed", This myth was only debunked after declassified documents were released in 1990 / 3. "The Arrow was far ahead of its time, and had it not been cancelled, it would still be in service today" - This myth caters to the dreamers. There were numerous issues with the Arrow, and the only real component ahead of its time was the engine.
