started working at National Steel Car 1942, stayed while operations changed to Victory Aircraft in 1943 and became Group leader in 1944, Chief Tool Designer in 1945. Joined Avro when the Victory plant was taken over and swithed to engine work in 1946, worked on Chinook, Orenda, Iroquois. Retired as Manufacturing Engineering Manager in 1972.
