Born in Toronto, Ontario January 31, 1915 - Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Gas Turbine Division of A.V. Roe Canada Limited (note a Dec 1, 1949 story in Maclean's (object 2331) had his last name incorrectly spelled with 2 "L"'s - DILLWORTH). Started with the National Research Council aero engine laboratories, and went with Turbo Research when it was formed in 1944 Became an Avro employee as Manager and Chief Engineer the Gas Turbine Division when Avro took over Turbo Research in 1946. Involved in TR-4 Chinook engine, first engine designed and built in Canada 1948- went on to Orenda Drawing Office - Soccer player 1958 resigned to go consulting 1952 forming P.B. Dilworth Associates, later Dilworth, Secord, Meagher and Associates.
