Hired April, 1952 initially as Assistant Chief engineer for Gas Turbine Division, other positions included Assistant to Chief Development Engineer, Chief Development Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer prior to his appointment of Chief Engineer Jan 1, 1954 then appointed VP Engineering Orenda Engines, Jan 1, 1955. Attended Avro's 10 year award ceremony in 1955. Involved with both the Orenda and the Iroquois engines. Member of the Hawker Siddeley Group's design Council from 1955 to 1965. Appointed director of Orenda Industrial Ltd in 1958. Was with Orenda until 1959 when he resigned to work for Atomic Energy of Canada. He had submitted his resignation in 1958 but withdrew it and stayed for an extra year. Died March 10, 2001 age 98+
