Came from NRC and Turbo Research Limited 1944/45 (Head of Development and Test transferred to Toronto 1944) joined Avro in the spring of 1946 working in the Gas Turbine Division. Involved in TR-4 Chinook engine, first engine designed and built in Cananda 1948, was working on the Orenda in 1948 and by 1950 he was a Development chief engineer working on the Orenda - listed as working in Nobel in 1951. He wanted one employee so much that he actually hired Art Sutton twice in 1948. He was a session moderator for teh IAS/ASME Meet in June/1951. Prepared report entitled on Narrative of the 4.5 Year Long Development of the Orenda Gas Turbine Engine in 1951. Listed in the Gas Turbine Division Souvenir Programme for 5th Anniversary Dance 1951. Leaves company June 30 1953. Hired on with Continental Aviation and Engineering Corp in Nov 1953 as Asst Mgr of Turbine Division. Titles held include Head of Laboratory Design, Chief Test Engineer, Chief Development Enginner
