Two color advertising postcards for Hobo Joe's, a cafe chain located in California and Arizona. The card features a painting or pastel sketch of Hobo Joe, the chain's mascot, taking a nap in a hammock at his camp. His dog is seated on an open book in his lap and a coffee pot is boiling over a fire nearby. The card is vertically printed, with a banner across the bottom that reads "Hobo Joe" World Traveler, Philosopher, and Connoisseur of Good Food".
Unused. The back reads "Hobo Joe's Colony Foods, Inc, 1801 Dove Street, Newport Beach, Calif. 92660" in the upper left corner beside an image of Hobo Joe and his dog. The card was designed by Locantore in Costa Mesa and printed by Kolor View Press in Los Angeles. Print number 6587/KV6587C.
