Description

A canteen produced by the Boy Scouts of America as part of the official boy scouts equipment. It is a silve metal canteen in a green felt pouch with twin snap flaps and a green canvas cord hold ing it in place. There is a metal chain that connects the lid to the rest of the canteen to ensure it is not lost. The canteen is from a collection of material from the Boy Scout Jamboree of 1953 held on the Irvine Ranch.
