Two flags used at the Boy Scout Jamboree of 1953 to denote where the troops for LA were to camp. There is a beary in a scout uniform holding a golden poppy (state flower) and a sign that reads "Troop" where the troop number could be written. A yellow ribbon along the bottom of the design reads "Los Angeles.... Area Council" while a red circle behind the bear and the state of California reads "1953 National Jamboree". Only one of the flags has the troop number written on it. It is for Troop number 5. The flags are triangular and have metal reenforced holes in the corners for string ties to attach them to poles.Lexicon
