A black and white photographic postcard looking down Grand Canal from the Newport Harbor entrance towards what became Irvine Terrace. The Little Island bridge is visible after a block. It was most likely taken from a boat at the very end of Grand Canal, in the water. It has a white border with a thicker banner on the right side with the title, postcard number, publisher logo (Frasher's) and a sketch of a woman sitting by the water in a swimsuit at the top.
The back reads "A Frashers Foto Card, Scenic Photos of the West" with an EKC stamp box with three horizontal lines. Published by Frashers, Inc, Pomona, Calif. Never sent.Subject
