Description

A picture postcard featuring a photograph looking down Main Street, Balboa towards the ociea. The building on the left with the big coffee shop sign is now the post office and the one next to it, once a casino and cafe, is now a retail store. The post office building appears to have been torn down between this photograph and now. The building to the right of it as well as the pharmacy on the corner across the street are both still there. The small building housing Soto's Souviners beside the pharmacy is either gone or heavily remodelled. Most of the other buildings are still there, save the Penny Arcade building which was demolished. There is now a parking lot in that location. The back of the card is a simple correspondence- address back. The initials EKC are placed within the stap location, indicating the possible publisher.
