A black and white photograph post card with an image of the Commodore crossing the Newport Harbor. The photograph was likely taken in the 1930s or early 1940s from the end of a dock or inside a boat based on the photograph angle. The ferry is heading to the Balboa Peninsula with passengers and three cars on board. It was sent on February 3, 1948 at 5 pm from the Balboa Post Office, likely the one on Main Street, to Mr. Eroln Burssett [sp] in Grand Lodge Michigan. Photograph number 10.
