Description

Three postcards of the Reuben E. Lee restaurant housed along the shore beside the PCH bridge. The image on the postcards is identical, as are the photographer, publisher, and printer number, but the design of the postcards is slightly different. One is a 3.5" x 5.5" postcard with no border or banner and the other is a 4" x 6" postcard with a white banner along the bottom bearing the words "Balboa Bay, color by Merle Porter" and a scalloped edge. The image shows the Reuben E Lee taken from an elevated position to the right of the ship on the loading side. There is a truck delivering goods to the restaurant to the left and both gangways are present, one to the upper deck and one to the lower deck. Unused. Published by Royal Pictures. Photograph by Merle Porter. Postcard number C-119. Print number ICS-75416/ICS-75416C.
