A black and white photograph postcard of several boats sailing on the bay with the Balboa Pavilion in the background. The sailors in the boats might be members of the Balboa Island Yacht club. There is a sign on the pavilion advertising a dance hall. Taken from Balboa Island South Bay Front, either on a dock or on the beach. There is a small hole punched in the bottom right corner of the postcard. Sent on July 4, 1932 at 4 am from Balboa Island to Yosemite National Park. It was sent to a C. Winfield (Wink) Haitrauft [sp] from Mathir [sp].
