A colorized or stylized image of people bathing in the ocean in the 1900s. Some of the bathers are holding onto a rope meant to keep people from drowning in the ocean or being swept out. There is a dog in the current as well. The bathing suits resemble full dresses or suits and many of the women have their hair covered.
