BIM2020.005.288Description
A colorized photograph postcard of beach goers near the Balboa Pier with a large military-looking ship off the shore in the ocean and a lifeguard tower in the midst of the crowd. This may not actually be Newport beach but somewhere further north or south, as the lifeguard tower does not look familiar. White border with the title in the upper right corner and print number in the lower right corner.

Dear Aunt Mable.
I have been in the Hospital with my hand, but I am out now. It is still in a bandage but it feels good. I was glad to get your letter. I am sorry to hear about Aunt Dini but as you say I suggest she is much better off. At lease she won't be alone. This is a nice climate out here. Love & all. MauriaLanguage
