A colorized photograph postcard of the rocks near Pirate's Cove in Corona del Mar looking into the Harbor. It was taken from the top of the rocks that run along the Jetty. There are no islands visible yet in the image and may have been taken before the construction of Balboa Island began, or the island may simply be difficult to see because of the coloring. Sent on April 26, 1910 from Santa Ana. Sent to Mrs. R. C. Griffith in Terre(?) Indiana. The postcard appears to read "Terre if able", which indicates it may have been a rural community with limited mail service at the time or an entirely different city in Indiana. Published by M. Rieder in Los Angeles and Leipzig. Made in Germany. Postcard number 24050.
