A colorized photograph postcard of a group of people playing in the ocean waves in bathing costumes. They are posing in various silly ways, possibly along the Balboa or Newport beach. The title "Greetings from Balboa Beach, Cal. is written in red on the front. The message is also on the front in a small area sectioned off along the right side of the postcard under a heading "Altogether".
Sent to Master Irvin [sp] Beck in Watsonville, California from Miss C. Hansen in Balboa California. The back is for the address only. Sent from Fullerton on August 22 1906 at 5pm and arrived in Watsonville on August 24, 1906 at 7 AM. There are two stamps on the back indicating it was stamped when sent and on arrival. Sent using a 1 cent Franklin stamp.
