A black and white photographic postcard of Grand Canal and little island taken from Bayside or the Irvine Terrace hills. The last plot on corner of Little Island is empty. The Peninsula and ocean are visible along the back of the image. The last few houses on North Bay front before the turn to Grand Canal on the main island are also visible.
The back is a standard postcard back made in the USA. No publisher or printer information. It was sent in 1948 at 11 am from Balboa. The date is illegible, though it ends in 0 and is probably June 10th, as the letter is dated June 9th. Sent to a Mrs. L. P. Thrall in Berkley, California.Subject
