A color picture postcard of a Balboa Island Ferry bot pulling into the Balboa Island dock, taken from the top of the Marine Fuel Station building northwest of the Ferry dock. There is a second, empty ferry docked beside the main dock that is not in service at that moment. The Balboa Pavilion is clearly visible in the background. Two copies, one sent and one not. Both have a standard postcard backing with a blurb in the upper left corner about the Balboa Island Ferry. Published by Drown news Company, made by Security Lithography Company. The sent card was addressed to Mr & Mrs. Oliver I. Lowe in Terre Haute, Indiana from Becky. Sent on August 10, 1950 from the Balboa Island post office.
