A photograph looking down Main street from the beach on the pacific side towards the Pavilion. It is taken from around the entrance onto the pier. The Balboa Inn is on the left and the cupola of the pavilion is visible just off center in the photograph. Circa 1930s or 1940s.

There is a message on the back from a Jack to a Milly explaining where he is in relationship to the image on the front. The message was typed on a typewriter.Subject
