Name/Title
Ken Niles Villa Marina - California's Finest Motor ResortEntry/Object ID
BIM2020.005.138Description
A photograph of the Ken Niles Villa Marina taken from over the roof of one of the small hotel or rental villas. The pool is in front of them with flower beds between the pool and buildings. Balboa Bay and a series of boat docks sit behind it.
Two copies from different years, neither used. There is a small blurb in the upper left hand corner of the back of the postcard. The address of the Villa Marina seems the change over time, from 801 Bayside Drive to 1021 Bayside Drive, though the fact that the photo on the front does not change suggests that the addresses were changed at some point to standardize them. Published by Don Bush, first at 1010 Main, Balboa California and second time at 711 Randolph, Costa Mesa, California. Both were printed by Dexter Press at West Nyack, New York. Postcard number 71824. Two different stamp boxes: "Place Stamp Here' with a dotted border and "Place Stamp Here Dexter" with a solid border.Subject
