Two copies of a colorized photograph postcard of people fishing off the Newport pier looking towards the shore. Oceanfront is visible on the left and a large building is visible to the right. Beach goers mcan also be seen along the shore along with the prep station for fish on the right at the end of the dock. The railroad tracks appear to have all been removed by this time. One unused and one sent on August 30, 1949 from Newport Beach to Alice Graham in Monrovia, California. Published by Drown news Agency in Long Beach. Printed by E. C. Kropp Co. in Milwaukee. Postcard number 32431. Stamp box has ECK Co in the corners of the box with "Place Stamp Here" in the middle. Postcard image number 48.
