A color postcard with an artistic rendition of a man on a lake or close to shore pulling in gigantic fish. There are two fish in his canoe already and the fisherman is pulling in a shirt one. White border with "The fishing is excellent here" in the upper left corner. This is the set text. "Greetings from Balboa Island, Calif." is written in red on the bottom and is the customized text.
The back is divided into correspondence and address. Made in the USA. Stamp box reads "Place Stamp here one cent for US and Island possessions Cuba, Canada, and Mexico. Two cents for foreign." Series 925, Freak Fish.
There were 12 designs in the series. Clearly mass produced with customized text on the bottom (Greetings from Balboa Island, Calif.)Subject
