Description

A photograph of three men working to build either the seawall or the boardwalk on Balboa Island. One of the men is stirring a large pot containing cement, another man is filling up a wheelbarrow sitting in the trench, and a third is moving a filled wheelbarrow along the trench balanced on a board covering either packed earth or cement. There is a sandbag at the front of the wheelbarrow that is being moving. Taken around July 4, 1911 Two copies. One is adhered to black album page 1 and the other is adhered to black album page 2.
