A colorized photograph looking down the balboa Pier toward the Balboa pavilion during or around the fourth of July. A series of American flags run along the railing following the pier and there is a little girl running or skipping down the middle of the pier. Sent on August 26, 1909 to Miss Florence E. Deity in Allentown, Pennsylvania by W. S. Daukmalnels. It is a hand colored work published by M. Rieder in Los Angeles and made in Germany. Postcard number 20008. Sent using a 1 cent green Ben Franklin stamp.
