BIM2013.028.060Description
A photograph of a house identified previously as 213 Coral. Two stickers and writting on the back identify it as this address. The number 213 is clearly visible beneath the front porch light to the left of the dutch front door.
The house is two stories with a shingle roof and wood slide panneling on the sides. There is a bay window on the second floor facing the street and two identical sets of sliding windows to the left and right of the front door, complete with built in ledges beneath for plants or window planters. THe front fencing is white with a six point star pattern inside wooden frames. The house might be the second house at 213 Coral and may well have been torn down so the existing house could be built. Construction is circa 1950s-1970s. A sticker on the front advertises the house as "Very large..full remodelled..dual balconies...custome throughout formal dining...mother in law unit..lets work out terms... $550,000".
The photograph was likely displayed in the window of the Balboa Island Realty office as part of a showcase of houses currently for sale. The photograph is somewhat faded, possibly from light exposure.Lexicon
