Grand Canal- Balboa Island, CAEntry/Object ID
BIM2020.26.131Description
A thick, heavy postcard made locally that appears to be a photograph glued to a piece of backer board. More recent in age. The photographer was sitting or laying on the seawall on the 100 block of grand canal, east side, looking towards the Irvine Terrace/Bayside area. The Little Island Bridge cuts through the middle of the image. There are three pots of colorful flowers on a small platform with stairs leading down to the sand. There is a wrought-iron fence covering two sides of the platform.
