This series of 3, captioned, color filmstrips, each approximately 70 frames, deals with several aspects of the Basque country. This area consists of 7 provinces along the Pyrenees Mountains in France and Spain. History, folklore, tradition, geography, economy, home and community life are described and illustrated. The filmstrips included in this series are: "The Basque Country--History and Tradition," "The Basque Country--Environment and Economy," and "The Basque Country--Home and Community." These filmstrips are suitable for use with hearing impaired students in senior high and post secondary social studies classes. A script accompanies each filmstrip.
