A continuation of the author's book "History and Origin of the Basque". The same information is contained in this book but it also contains new information from 1931 to 1972 and deals primarily with the short-lived Basque Republic and the Spanish Civil War that followed. The dagger through the Basque country depicted on the cover represents the various major invasions and attempts to conquer the Basque Country.
