The model is inside a wood and glass case. The case has solid back and top with the front and sides being glass. The model is supported in the case by brass rods that are hidden by two stacks of wood "cribbing" -one under turret 2 and the other under turret 4 of the model. There is a half circle brass tag bearing "TEXAS" and "Ted Hawkins" in cursive.
